Live tracking works with the participant's phone. The participant activates tracking before the start, we track the location via GPS and show it in the app. Together with the route in the app you can see exactly where everyone is.

What do you do with location data?
Location data is only used to follow participants live during the event. It is never sold, shared with third parties or used for other purposes. Race With Me processes this data in accordance with the GDPR.
How long do you keep location data?
Location data is deleted right after the race. For events without a predefined route, the route covered is kept so participants can look back on it. Participants can delete their races in the app at any time.
Can our participants keep their location private?
Yes, participants are fully in control. They can pause or switch off tracking in the app at any time, or set their profile to private so only people they invite can follow them.
How can we reach you if there are problems?
You can reach us at support@racewithme.app and we usually respond within one working day. During events, direct support is also available for organisers.
Does Race With Me work without an internet connection?
The app needs an active internet connection to share locations live. During a temporary outage, data is buffered locally and sent as soon as possible.
Is Race With Me suitable for large events?
Yes, the platform is scalable and suitable for events from dozens to thousands of participants. For large events, please contact us in advance so we can plan capacity.
